Exercise Suggestions for Men
Men have different objectives when working out. They may
want to lose weight, tone their bodies, become stronger or
build stamina. Although there are many types of
exercise equipment available, for both gym and home use, unless
you are doing the workouts correctly you will not get good
results.
A full body workout of the shoulder, chest and legs is
recommended when you want to burn calories and develop your
muscles. Also, the experts suggest that men should
stick to the following formats:
- Pay attention to form.
- Use motions that involve more than one joint.
- Become a pro at the technique.
- Start warmup repetitions.
- Let each muscle work independently.
- Don't do too many sets.
- After the workout, cool down for ten minutes.
- A rest time of up to ten days is allowed in between
workouts.
- A workout with weights should be followed by cardio
exercise.
- Track how you are doing.
- Switch between different pieces of equipment.
- Each time you work out, vary the muscle groups you
focus on.
- Eat as much as 3,000 calories weekly.
You might choose to exercise on your own, or with a personal
trainer, whatever you choose, begin slowly and reach a level
that you are comfortable with, before you move on to the next
level. Start out by exercising your large muscles,
then move to the smaller ones which require less energy.
In addition to this, to prevent injury to the body it is best
to listen to what your body is trying to tell you. Stop
if you are tired or if your back is not straight.
Workouts should incorporate the latter elements as well.
Don't forget to stretch before your workout and during the
cool down afterwards! Furthermore, stretching before and
after workouts reduces the incidence of injuries.
